@amar: Hey man, just because it works on your system doesn't mean it works on every system. If you've read the comments you can see I'm not the only one having these problems!
Besides... this has nothing to do with practicing on a product, it's just buggy (again... on some systems). Oh, and being 'nearly complete (nuff said) and new version' doesn't mean it's bug free!
So, if it works for you: good for you. If it doesn't: Stick to FB2 and wait for FB4.

Thanks, I know about the google thing, working on that right now. Not a very nice action from google, they THINK I'm spreading malware or a LINK or AD (google ad) is linking to a site which spreads malware. Instead of contacting me first, they just blacklisted me. I now have to wait till they rescan my site.

OMG -- I cannot believe that you and I are the only two people having this problem with the properties window, but I have combed Google and this is the only mention of it I could find. Not-to-mention you're site is listed by Google as "maybe harmful to your computer" -- wow, talk about arcane. Is it a conspiracy?

Anyway, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, the help window, double-click, resize worked. I can see the Build path window now.

What shit!

@Chris: Yeah I did. It makes no sense, but it works. Here goes:
1. Go to the screen which is missing.
2. Click on the 'help' (?) button
3. Resize the screen

The options should now magically show up!

edit
I see I posted it before, it's the same solution as the import bug. I know it doesn't work for all screens (screens which have a kind of panel inside it won't be affected), so let me know if it works for you.

1. Good to know, I'll try,
2. Well that's just a work around, it still stays a bug...
3. I've tried everything to get the right screen (restarting flex, rebooting, reinstalling) but it won't give it, and it's not the only screen which is missing, the Flex Build path, where you can organize your imported SWC's is also missing, and that a kinda crucial screen!
4. I've found a work around for this one:
- Click on the help button on the bottom right of the screen,
- Resize the window,
- Double click on one of the given options, than it suddenly works...

I haven't posted to flexcoders or adobe yet, but I will do, coz a better Flex Builder: isn't that what we all want :-P

Hey, sorry you're frustrated with the latest release. Maybe I can help a little.

issue 1 (running alongside FB2) - No, you dont have to uninstall FB2 to run FB3.

issue 2 (mxml view fucked up) - Have you tried closing all views and then reopening them? Or minimizing them and then maximizing them?

issue 3 (keys page not visible) - Sorry, I could't replicate this. You should see a display with all the shortcuts and commands in it. Have you tried posting to Flexcoders or the Adobe forums to see if anyone else is having this issue?

issue 4 - Again, I was not able to replicate the issue you are having. I just now tried and imported a FB2 project into FB3 (File > Import > Other ... then select Flex Builder > Flex Project). Of course, my project was pretty simplistic, so maybe for larger examples there are issues?
